2024 Partner of the Year Award Winners
Congratulations to the 2024 Safer Choice Partner of the Year Awards winners! Winners were recognized for their achievements last year in the design, manufacture, promotion, selection and use of products with safer chemicals, that furthers outstanding or innovative source reduction. In support of Agency goals, winners were also recognized for work that results in cleaner air or water, improves drinking water quality or advances innovation in packaging.

Making the Safer Choice program’s mission known to the widest possible audience is key to fully realizing the program’s goals and potential. The purpose of the annual Safer Choice Partner of the Year awards is to recognize partners and stakeholders who have made exceptional contributions to advancing the Safer Choice program’s mission. The Awards recognize Safer Choice partners and stakeholders that demonstrate achievement in the design, manufacture, promotion, selection and use of products with safer chemicals.

Eligibility
All Safer Choice stakeholders and program participants in good standing are eligible for recognition. The Awards recognize organizations from five broad categories: (1) Formulators/Product Manufacturers of both consumer and Institutional/Industrial products, (2) Purchasers and Distributors, (3) Retailers, (4) Supporters (e.g., non-governmental organizations, including environmental and health advocates, trade associations, academia, state and local governments and others) and (5) Innovators (e.g., chemical manufacturers, technology developers and others).
How to Submit
The submission period for the 2024 awards closed on April 25, 2024. Check back in spring 2025 for information on how to submit for the 2025 awards.
